All Trades Editorial
Do you have a project that would benefit from a second set of eyes? Bring it to me! With degrees in writing from University of Chicago and Indiana University and over ten years of professional experience, I have a natural editorial instinct honed by education and practice. I have served as a first reader and editor for my friends for years, and it’s my favorite thing to do.
What I Offer
Fiction First Reading: Do you have a novel draft that is mostly complete but not ready to send out? Let me read it! I will provide line edits and proofreading, as well as character development notes, identification of structural weaknesses or plot holes, and suggestions for editing. I am not an agent or a publisher, just a reader. :)
Nonfiction Development Editing: Do you a project in the works in memoir, essay, or academic writing? From a Substack essay to your academic thesis to a book-length memoir, I can help you hone your vision, trace the arc of your story or argument, and provide clear options for next steps while leaving you room for autonomy and finding your voice.
Career Development: Do you need help writing or editing your resume, cover letter, personal statement, application, or funding request? With both personal and professional experience including years of working as a college and career coach, $1M in grant funding secured for organizations I write for, and a 100% acceptance rate for my clients applying to graduate and professional programs, I’m itching to help you hone your professional and artistic story and make your next move.
Services are offered on a sliding scale starting at $20 for editing a one-page document like a resume and cover letter, with options to add time for meeting personally and working together long-term.

What My Writers Say:
“You went above and beyond in your feedback. Your words and advice are coming with me in the rewriting and reworking process and I’m so thankful for your investment.” - Lore W., novelist, 2025
“Krystiana is a doula for your book, offering everything that the word entails. With a keen editorial eye and a passion for good prose, she devotes time and emotional investment to her writer’s projects. She makes space for your voice and process, and she wants to see you succeed.” - Rachel D., memoirist and essayist, 2026
“Krystiana’s work is deeply connective. She makes the personal feel expansive and universal, and she encapsulates big, heady ideas in a way that feels intimate. She will help you see where your work lands and where it falls flat, and turn your stories into the very best versions of themselves.” - Elise D., essayist, 2026
